Servants for the Future is an endowment fund to provide financial resources to support student aid and scholarships for those preparing for church work careers in the Concordia University System and Concordia Seminaries (including distance education programs); to support the development of the Concordia House of Studies; and to expand campus ministry in the District. The District has set a goal of receiving gifts and commitments from at least 100 pastors and 100 commissioned ministers with a dollar goal of $100,000 by January 31, 2008. The professional church workers’ commitment is the first step towards gathering $1,000,000 by the District's 60th Anniversary in February 2008, and eventually $10 million.
