TRINITY LUTHERAN-Athens, GA, on May 27 celebrated the 20th anniversary of its half-time Preschool program and thanked Brenda Malueg, for her dedicated service as director and teacher for 20 years. She was honored at a retirement reception following the celebration during the 11:00 a.m. service. Preaching that day was guest pastor Dr. David H. Bernthal, Trinity’s pastor during the early stages of the Preschool program. Interim Pastor Dr. David C. Sieg as the officiant for the service. A school bell will be placed in the church portico in honor of the 20th anniversary and Mrs. Malueg’s years of service to the children of Trinity congregation and the Athens community.
